SolidFire to Discuss Shift to Flash Storage and OpenStack in the Enterprise at Samsung Memory Solutions Forum

SolidFire, the market leader in high-performance data storage systems designed for large-scale public and private cloud infrastructure, will speak at the Samsung Memory Solutions Forum with eBay on Oct. 22, 2013. SolidFire CEO, Dave Wright, will discuss the rising demand of flash storage and OpenStack within the enterprise. The talk will cover the rapid shift that is occurring in how enterprise IT infrastructure is being deployed and managed within the Next Generation Data Center.

Joining SolidFire in the presentation will be Roark Hilomen, distinguished engineer & technologist of eBay, who will discuss the role flash storage is playing within its infrastructure and how OpenStack is changing the way it is deploying and managing IT services.

During the presentation, Wright and Hilomen will examine how raw flash performance, paired with mature management frameworks like OpenStack, are enabling enterprises to deliver all of the technical and economic flexibility found within the world’s largest multi-tenant public clouds - inside their own firewall.
