SolidFire, a provider of all-solid-state (SSD) primary storage systems for cloud service providers, will participate in Cloud Connect, taking place in Santa Clara, February 13 through 16, 2012. SolidFire will exhibit its all-flash systems at booth 810. Dave Wright, the company's founder and CEO, will be a presenter in the Cloud Performance Summit, and will cover ways to increase performance in a multi-tenant cloud. Wright's session will take place on Monday, February 13, 2:35-2:55 p.m. local time.
The session will give an overview of why storage performance is so variant and weak within todays cloud infrastructures. He will clearly identify the culprits of poor storage performance and will discuss both the current and up-and-coming technologies that aim to bring consistent performance to the cloud.
Wright is also a speaker at the Credit Suisse Solid State Conference, taking place in San Francisco on February 8, and at the Pacific Crest Emerging Tech Summit, also in San Francisco, on February 14, on the "Storage Disruptors: Flash, Scale-Out & Cloud, Oh My" panel.
