SolidFire Executives to Participate in Flash Memory Summit Sessions

CEO to Present "Leveraging SSDs within Cloud Storage Infrastructures" and VP of Marketing to Explain "Cloud Block Storage as a Service in the Cloud"

BOULDER, Colo., August 03, 2011

SolidFire, a provider of all-solid-state (SSD) primary storage systems for cloud service providers, today announced that both its chief executive officer and VP of sales and marketing will be speaking at the Flash Memory Summit in Santa Clara, Calif. Dave Wright, SolidFire founder and CEO, will be talking about "Leveraging SSDs within Cloud Storage Infrastructures" while Jay Prassl, VP of sales and marketing, will be sharing his thoughts on "Cloud Block Storage as a Service in the Cloud." Both sessions are part of the "Special Tutorial on Flash Memory and Cloud Computing," which will take place on Thursday, August 11, 3:30-5 p.m. PT.

A month ago, SolidFire announced its Early Access Program for cloud service providers, and revealed details about its all-SSD storage technology that addresses the unique technical and economic requirements of primary block storage in the cloud.
