SolidFire, a provider of all-solid-state (SSD) primary storage systems for cloud service providers, will participate in the HostingCon conference, taking place in Boston, at the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center, July 16-18, 2012. Attendees can hear more about the company's all-flash storage offering on the exhibit floor at booth #421. The company is also scheduling live one-on-one demonstrations of its patent-pending Quality-of- Service (QoS) technology at a private suite at the Sheraton Boston.
Demonstrations will show how service providers are now able to expand the type and number of customer applications running in their cloud, and how to support those applications with firm service level agreements (SLAs) around storage performance. At the conference, Adam Carter, SolidFire director of product management, will be talking about storage alternatives in the cloud as part of the Lightning Talks Session, taking place on July 16, 2012, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. local time. This session will discuss the challenges inherent in today's EBS-like offerings, and will explore the benefits and risks of leveraging different flash solutions to enhance cloud performance.
