Exploring OpenStack in the Enterprise

OpenStack is a free and open-source cloud computing software platform. Users primarily deploy it as an infrastructure as a service (IaaS) solution. It began in 2010 as a joint project of Rackspace Hosting and NASA. Then OpenStack Foundation, a non-profit corporate entity, was established to promote OpenStack software and its community. More and more companies have joined the project and the technology is making inroads into the enterprise.

This one day event examines:

- The current state and direction of OpenStack
- The OpenStack community
- OpenStack in real life;Adopting OpenStack in the enterprise
- Strengths, weaknesses and key gaps in making the enterprise ready
